Curl Creel BO Jagger

Although this is a buck I no longer own, I believe his daughters will leave a lasting and meaningful impact on our herd. I was absolutely over the moon to introduce Curl Creek BO Jagger, and I remain incredibly excited about what he brings genetically.

Both sides of Jagger’s pedigree are well known for correct mammary structure, and this breeding was intentionally planned to produce does with large, well-placed teats and highly functional udders. His sire, Black Oak, represents an exceptional blend of show and production lines. He has consistently proven his ability to pass on very correct mammaries along with strong conformation. He also excels in brisket extension, length and levelness of top line, along with angular dairy character.

Jagger’s grandam, Castle Rock Sarafina, is a truly stunning, finished doe and a Grand Champion, scoring EEEE 92. As a second freshener, she produced 657 lbs of milk in just 155 days and peaked at 6.8 lbs on a one-day milk test. Black Oak’s sire’s dam, Castle Rock Penny Wise, holds both Superior Genetics and Permanent Grand Champion titles. At only two years old, she produced 1,100 lbs of milk in 305 days, followed the next year by an impressive 8.2 lbs on a one-day milk test.

Jagger’s dam, Curl Creek Chantilly *M (VG86), is a gorgeous, angular dairy doe with an extremely correct mammary system. She placed first in the yearling milker class in both rings at the 2019 CGS West Nationals. On her second freshening in 2020, she produced 3.18 lbs and earned her *M (Milk Star).

Linebred on Black Oak, Jagger truly represents the best of both show and dairy genetics. While he has moved back to his farm at Curl Creek, I am beyond thrilled to watch his daughters develop and can’t wait to see what they contribute to our herd in the years ahead. Silverberry CJ Gluestick was a first freshener that was very impressive in the Spring of 2025.
