Sales Policy

Thanks for checking out Silverberry Acres! If you are interested in any of our animals please continue to read below. All animals that become available will be listed on our Facebook page first, for the earliest notifications, please follow our FB page.

All of our animals require a 50 %, non-refundable deposit to hold them. Please review this entire sales policy before sending any deposits our way. We also reserve the right to refuse a sale for any reason. We want to make sure every placement is the best fit for both the buyer and the animal. Animals are to be paid in full before leaving the property or from the agreed meeting location.

We have the right to retain any kid/s from a breeding and the right to refuse a sale for any reason however, if this occurs the buyers deposit will be refunded.

Kids will be tattooed, disbudded, and vaccinated with Covexin Plus before leaving the farm. Registration will occur shortly after being picked up. We cannot guarantee scurs will not occur, especially on bucklings.

All animals are considered sold when they leave our location. We are an annually clean tested herd for CAE, Johne's and are also CL abscess free. Because of this, we do not offer warranties, but we will be reasonable in finding a solution if a situation were to occur but will not offer a guarantee on a replacement, refund or discount. Due to biosecurity, once animals leave they cannot return back to our farm.

After kids are weaned they must be picked up from our farm unless other arrangements are discussed previously to receiving the deposit. Shipping or other pickups must be arranged by the buyer and at the buyers expense. If by chance the animal becomes sick or is deceased prior to leaving, the deposit will be refunded. We cannot ensure care and/or a health guarantee after leaving the property or pickup point.

Animals are priced individually based on factors such as pedigree and proven genetics, conformation, milkability and occasionally temperament and can be taken to account.

To maintain a closed clean tested herd and biosecurity, we do not accept any refunds to maintain the health of our herd.
